Terms and Conditions
New Residential Customers
Credit approval and a monthly monitoring agreement are required. For homeowners with approved credit, a minimum equipment investment of $499 may apply. Additional equipment may be paid in installments over 39 months at a 0% annual percentage rate through the J&J SmartPay® program.
The J&J SmartPay® program requires a monthly monitoring agreement coterminous with the applicable installment term. Depending on the monitoring package selected, J&J Security Systems LLC may take over up to 20 pre-wired, functioning contacts from an existing system using J&J’s hard-wired system. A minimum equipment investment of $549 applies to system takeovers.
Applicable sales and use taxes apply. Other restrictions may apply.
Free Professional Installation
Proof of homeownership or a verified permission letter signed by the property owner or property manager is required prior to installation. Installation fees may apply for additional exterior cameras. Installation of a keyless door lock may require a licensed locksmith.
Warranties
Systems with inTouch® Monitoring include J&J Security Systems LLC’s Service Plus Program.
Basic Security systems include J&J Security Systems LLC’s Basic Warranty Program.
Cellular Communication and inTouch® Services
J&J Security Systems LLC may share personal information with corporate affiliates to carry out requested transactions or to improve services. Information may also be disclosed for law enforcement, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or where reasonably necessary to protect J&J Security Systems LLC, its customers, or the public.
Personal information may be shared with trusted business partners solely to support requested services or improve communications, and only with partners who adhere to strict data protection standards. Personal information is not shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes without consent.
Video Services
inTouch® Security with video monitoring supports up to four (4) cameras. Additional monthly monitoring fees may apply for more than four cameras.
Minimum upload speed requirements:
First camera: 650 Kbps
Each additional camera: 250 Kbps
inTouch® Doorbell Camera & inTouch® 180 Indoor Camera: 2 Mbps

Service Terms & Conditions
Service is provided on a month-to-month basis. Either you or J&J Security Systems LLC may cancel at any time. Written documentation may be required to confirm cancellation.
J&J Security Systems LLC reserves the right to adjust service charges with prior notice and to pass through applicable third-party charges. Customers are responsible for all applicable taxes. The first month of service may be prorated. Payments are non-refundable.
All services and equipment are provided “as is.” J&J Security Systems LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. J&J Security Systems LLC is not responsible for defects or failures of service or equipment and shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.
You represent that you own or have lawful occupancy rights to the service address. You are responsible for providing access, a safe work environment, and necessary utilities. You assume all risks associated with service, equipment, and property.
J&J Security Systems LLC may collect and use service-related data in accordance with applicable law and its Privacy Policy. All video and audio content collected through the service is owned by J&J Security Systems LLC.
You consent to be contacted by phone, text message, email, or other contact methods on file for service-related and marketing purposes. You may opt out of marketing communications; however, service-related communications cannot be opted out of.
All disputes shall be resolved through individual binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association consumer rules. This agreement is governed by North Carolina law, and any permitted court proceedings shall be brought in Charlotte, North Carolina.
No False Alarm Guarantee
Applies only to alarm fines resulting from system malfunction or error attributable to J&J Security Systems LLC. This guarantee does not cover user error, negligence, Acts of God, permit violations, or unregistered systems.
Customers must provide a copy of the alarm fine. J&J Security Systems LLC will credit the customer’s account for the fine amount; customers remain responsible for paying the fine directly. This guarantee applies only to customers with the Real Time Response℠ system.
Homeowners Insurance Discounts
Insurance discounts may be available for professionally monitored intrusion and fire alarm systems. Discount availability and amounts vary by insurer. Contact your insurance provider for details.
Billing
Quoted monitoring rates require monthly ACH draft or annual billing paid upfront, unless otherwise specified.

SMS Terms & Conditions
These SMS/Text Messaging Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the SMS Program offered by J&J Security Systems LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By enrolling, you agree to these Terms and our SMS Privacy Policy.
Program Description
By opting in, you may receive recurring SMS messages, including:
Transactional messages: service alerts, appointment reminders, account notifications, order updates, and security messages
Marketing messages: promotions and offers, sent only with express written consent
Message frequency varies based on interaction.

User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate contact information and notify us if your mobile number changes or is no longer under your control.
Eligibility
The SMS Program is available to U.S. residents who are 18 years or older with a supported wireless carrier. Availability may vary by location.
Privacy & Data Use
Participation is governed by our SMS Privacy Policy. Mobile numbers are not sold or shared for third-party marketing purposes.
Program Changes or Termination
We may modify, suspend, or terminate the SMS Program at any time as permitted by law.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The SMS Program is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee message delivery or accuracy and are not liable for damages related to participation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Dispute Resolution
All disputes related to the SMS Program shall be resolved through individual binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act and governed by North Carolina law. Class actions are waived where permitted.
