Every Decatur system starts with a monitored security alarm system. From there, most homeowners add professionally installed security cameras and smart home automation so locks, lights and cameras work from one app. Own a business in Decatur? Decatur is in DeKalb County, about 30 minutes west of Snellville via US-78. Here is what we see most often in Decatur homes and how we approach it.
Decatur is one of our most varied service areas: the walkable historic bungalows and craftsman homes of Oakhurst, Winnona Park, Great Lakes and the neighborhoods around the Square; the mid-century ranches of unincorporated DeKalb toward North Decatur and Medlock; and the townhomes and condos near East Decatur Station and Avondale Estates. Older intown homes mean original wood windows, multiple porch doors and detached garages, so we fit slim sensors carefully and cover the alley or rear approach with a camera, not just the front porch.
Decatur homeowners tend to ask for video doorbells for package theft near busy pedestrian streets, smart locks for dog walkers and cleaners, and indoor cameras for pets. We build all of it on the Qolsys IQ4 panel with 24/7 monitoring and cellular backup, and integrate compatible smart devices you already own. Avondale Estates, Clarkston, Scottdale and Druid Hills are on the same routes.
The City of Decatur and DeKalb County Police each have false-alarm ordinances; we help you register and configure entry delays and pet-immune sensors.
A proven process that takes you from first call to full protection in Decatur, GA.
We walk your Decatur property, listen to your concerns, and map out the entry points and blind spots that matter most.
We design a system around your home, not a generic package, choosing the right mix of alarms, cameras, and automation for your budget.
Our local technicians handle mounting, wiring, and testing in a single visit, then walk you through everything before we leave.
Once installed, your system is backed by around-the-clock monitoring and a local team that answers when you call.
Protecting homes across Georgia since 2004, we bring over 20 years of hands-on experience designing, installing, and maintaining customized residential security systems.
Your home is different, and your security system should be too. We recommend alarms, cameras, and automation based on your layout, risks, and budget, not a generic package.
Correct sensor placement, camera angles, system configuration, and testing help ensure your security system performs the way it should from day one.
We focus on solving your home's security needs, not selling you equipment you don't need.
